Book of Shadows

This is my online book of shadows. As you can see (or will see once I get everything up) it contains quite a bit of information. If you are reading this, it is assumed that you know the basics of Wicca. Withing these pages, I will give step by step instructions for spells and rituals, but will not take the time within each one to explain what a certain phrase means. If you find yourself confused, try going to Wicca 101 and looking for the answer to your question there. If you cannot find it, please feel free to email me, and I will gladly help you out. Also, if you would like to add something to these pages, feel free to send it to me, and if it's appropriate, I'll put it up. Just include your name and email, and your URL if you have a web site.

Keep in mind, that I am an ecclectic solitary practitioner. That is what everything in here in geared towards. Feel free to copy, save, print (if you want to print any of these pages, you will have to copy the text and paste it to a new text file, because the text is white, and won't show up on a printer), or do anything you want with anything you find here, and everything can easily be changed around to fit your group or belief system. If you need some suggestions about doing this, just ask, and I'll try to help out. Those of you coming from a very traditional background may think some of this is absurd, but that is part of the fun of being ecclectic, everything is different all the time (or, rather, it can be if you want it to be).

One more thing before I get to the good stuff. You will not find any spells or rituals which would commonly be considered black magick here. I personally do not practice any form of black magick, and that is really the only reason why. I don't hold anything against anyone who does, because what you do is your choice. Just don't ask me for any, cause I don't have any, and even if I did, I can't say that I would just give them to someone who asked. For clarity sake, I do not consider love spells to be black magick, though many people do for very good reasons. I have never cast a love spell on a particular person, but I have done a few, as most people have. When I refer to black magick, I mean anything dealing with "demons", raising the dead, causing harm or death to another person, or cursing someone or something in any way, and other things of that nature.

Many of the spells included here can be found under different categories. For example, a candle spell for good luck would be listed under candle spells and luck spells.
